My personal healing journey began in my twenties. After surviving a sexual assault, I turned to Tantra Yoga and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). These powerful modalities allowed me to move forward—helping me process the trauma, stop placing blame on myself, and release the heavy burdens of shame and guilt.
That was only the beginning. Over the years, yoga became my anchor through life’s most heartbreaking and turbulent chapters: navigating a divorce, the challenges of being a single parent, custody loss, and witnessing my rural community succumb to substance abuse. It held me steady through profound grief after the deaths of my best friend and my father, and it guided me through my own struggles with substance abuse, financial instability, and a narcissistic relationship. Yoga gave me the inner strength to walk away from environments and lifestyles that no longer served my higher purpose or well-being. When everything in me wanted to run away, the practice kept me grounded, present, and moving forward.
Today, my daily goal is to live from a place of deep compassion, understanding, non-judgment, and gratitude. During my very first 200-hour teacher training, I learned an affirmation from Goswami Kriyananda that reshaped my entire worldview:
"If I am to rise higher, I must help others to unfold."
This resonated so deeply within my soul. It is a principle I strive to live by every day, and it inspires my ongoing studies to share the profound, healing powers of yoga with the world.

Traditional Hatha Yoga sessions will be Practiced

This private session will teach you all the basics of beginning a yoga practice. We will work on body awareness, alignment and recognize any limitations. Modifications will be suggested. We will also learn Dirga Pranayama, 3 part breath which is a foundational way to breathe in our yoga practice and life.

This private session will be customized and tailored for you addressing any specific goals or outcomes. First, we will pre consult over the phone to discuss what this session looks like for you. From there a yoga practice will be customized just for you.

This session is for 2 people and can be of different skill levels. We will chat briefly to discuss what the body, mind and heart need that day and then proceed to work from there. A few partner assisted stretches will be offered as part of this practice.

These sessions offer a more Therapeutic and Somatic approach to Yoga

This session is a wonderful way to downshift the nervous system and practice deep relaxation. We focus entirely on your physical comfort and mental release. This practice will use props to support the body as we work on more passive asanas, addressing the more subtle energy bodies. Breath work and mindfulness will be used to flip the switch from Sympathetic Nervous System known as "Fight or Flight" to our Parasympathetic Nervous System known as "Rest & Digest."
This session is 60 mins

This session will focus solely on grounding, making a deeper connection with our body, breath and the earth. We will bring awareness to our Muladhara, or Root Chakra through breath work, meditation and grounding movements. Staying present in the moment will be a focal point if you are often anxious, worried, fearful, uncertain, caught up in your thoughts, stuck in the past or project too much into the future.
This session is 60 mins

This session uses the power of our breath as our personal geologist of the soul, digging deep to discover anything hidden under the surface layers. You will be guided intuitively and safely through this intensive, using shamanic drumming and flutes as a valuable tool to dig. This intensive is often referred to as a Rebirthing Experience, and a powerful step toward self-realization, emotional release and healing.
This session can take up to 3 hrs. A pre consultation is required.
